The "Headless Horseman" image is from a piece of clipart that was in a .gif format. It required increasing the colours to 16 million, and then a fair bit of work, (using the freehand tool antialised at size 1), to clean up the jagged edges, before I could make it into a transparent background image.
The moon, cloud and lightning bolts are tubes from Jasc, that I made some colour changes to, to compliment the background that was made using Flaming Pear's "Glitterato" filter. The highway is made with the paintbrush, using a textured sand sample I made.
The pottery base is my own....as are other components of the image, including the tombstone.
Memories of "Sleepy Hollow"....one of my favourite Halloween tales! *smile*
