Welcome to Snowglobes 4. 'Tis the season for holidays! *smile*. Although Canadians have already celebrated Thanksgiving, I am starting with a Halloween globe first. The Thanksgiving globe will be completed in November. Then it's on to children's favourite time of year... Christmas!! *smile*

Halloween globe

"The Friendly Haunting" won't scare youngsters, but rather allow them to relish the fun side of Halloween.

The elements of the globe are mostly black and white clip art and dingbat fonts that I have coloured and applied presets to. The castle tower and glass globe were made entirely from scratch.

The only tubes used were Jasc's bats (without the drop shadow) and skull.

The textures in the pumpkin and black cat were part of those included with PSP 6.0. I also used a sunburst gradient and inner bevel for the eyes and mouth on the pumpkin. Fonts used were "101 'lil ghosts" and "Bordercats".

I really love this program! *smile*

prize

Irene says I'm "cleaning up" on the awards! *grin*

"The Friendly Haunting" won 1st prize at the Eclectic Guild's Hallowe'en contest. *smile*

Many thanks, again, to all those who voted for my animation.

Thanksgiving globe

"Plenty for All" is my Thanksgiving globe.

The cute Pilgrim children are part of a tube from "Connie's Creations".

Base decorations, including the Indian corn ornament and acorns, and the animated fall leaves are just a few of the beautiful tubes offered by "Rhonnies Stuff".

The glass globe and ceramic base are mine.

If you would like to download my ceramic base tubes and glass globe tube, you can find them HERE. You will also find a tutorial there on how I compile the layers for my ceramic based snowglobes! *smile*
