Welcome to Snowglobes 2. I've found a new way to make glasslike globes. The tutorial is from "The Hoods"
Quick Tip 24 for Water Droplets, except I adjusted it for a transparent background and used only black for the colour. It also required more use of the eraser tool to get the transparency I wanted.
Highlights were added both at the top left hand and bottom right hand areas of the globe.

Summer Swans

My first glass globe snowglobe, Summer Swans.

The glass is still a bit darker than I wanted, but maybe if I play with it some more I can get it lighter. The base, of course, is my own as from the previous page.
The sky and water are from"Skeldale House Treasures". One of the grass tubes is Missi's the other is from "Barry and Marg Davies". The swans are courtesy of Vikki from "Southern Star's Creations". She has absolutely beautiful digital paintings of wild animals and birds.
I decided to try butterflies and plain sparkles this time, instead of snowflakes. The monarchs are one of Freemo Graphics tubes.

Irene's award

Wow! my first award. Received in the evening of June 6, 1999 from the Webmistress of "Sensational Globes Webring". What a way to begin a week. Thank you Irene.
Talk about spectacular, I think we should be giving you an award for outstanding graphics expertise! *smile*

Can we take animation lessons?? *grin*
