I wanted to do a set that was "feminine" and couldn't think of anything more appropriate than pearls and lace.
The lace is courtesy of "Kathi Lawson" sample# newlace 2. Besides beautiful sets, she offers many "Russian flavoured" graphic samples, free for people to create their own pages. Categories include beads, wedgewood, textures...the list goes on and on. She also provides information and links for those wishing to access sites regarding their Russian homeland. A very talented and generous lady!
The pink pearls are another variation of Dr. Jo Ann's"Visual Sonnets/The Sandbox" jewel tutorials. To make them pink I simply adjusted the base to a pale pink and played with the sliders on the layer after the Blade Pro preset was applied. The bullets are the full-sized variation with a drop shadow. The pearls in the lace, (after a lot of cut and paste on many layers) were just resized/resampled to 30%.
The background is R=218, G=198, B=194. The font on the buttons is Alegro in R=150, G=100, B=92, with "Web Graphics on a Budget" bevel_shiny.q9q preset applied. Two drop shadows, colour - black, at 40% opacity, 6 blur, vertical/horizontal settings 2,-2 and -2,2, were applied.
Please remember to link back to my homepage if you use this set. Thank you.
